You just spent the last few minutes of this conversation trying to convince me you're made of marshmallow. I don't think it's as difficult a case to build as you're thinking.
[Well. That's a spine-chilling thought. Humans discovering the barrier they can cross... no one who does returns... so, assuming the worst, they send an army...?
I suppose some people could just... dislike having to interact with others in general, but having any personal distaste for such a sweet child does seem strange.
[Muffet has a few quiet, nasty little suspicions about the way Frisk sometimes flinches at unexpected moments, or goes oddly quiet. Nothing like enough to be certain of anything, just worrying possibilities.]
