Generally, no, but I do have to give him credit for consistently being better at amusing me than most people.

He worked with us, too, so I know. He was always able to make us laugh and put us at ease.

One hopes he stuck to humorous wordplay- I could see practical jokes being very unfortunate from a lab safety standpoint.

Not really, if you limit yourself to filling drawers with marshmallows or wrapping up all of someone's things in gift paper. With little bows on it.

I am legitimately impressed that he could find that many marshmallows on short notice. I order them wholesale for some of the things I bake and they always take far too long to deliver.

My stash mysteriously disappeared the same day he did that.

My sort of skeletons are really just very, very tightly compressed marshmallow.

I am completely certain that you're lying, but I don't know enough about biology to call you on it so I'm just going to let it go.

...Although, technically, I suppose you could make a case for both you and the marshmallows being made of magic. Assuming they were monster food.

Well, yes, it wasn't human food, this was years ago.

And now you know why skeletons can't swim.

I've seen you spill coffee on yourself and that doesn't dissolve you, so I highly doubt that.

Not much water in my coffee, I suppose.

Doesn't that charmingly modern phone of yours have internet access? There's free Wi-Fi if you buy something, we can look up how much water is actually in coffee.

I don't know. I generally only use it for the texting. Phone calls tend to be very one sided.

[Anyway, he's checking.]

[She leans forward and peers over his screen while he types, reading the results upside-down. According to google, a cup of coffee is over ninety-eight percent water by volume.]

[She gives him a flat look- it's the equivalent of wordlessly raising an eyebrow at him, except she doesn't actually have eyebrows.]

[At least she has some hair?

He doesn't stop grinning. (He could, weirdly enough for a skeleton. But he doesn't.)]

What do they know about monster coffee, really?

Nothing that I don't know, certainly- and I know perfectly well that ours is largely water, too.

Then I had better not go swimming in that either.

If nothing else, filling a good-sized pool with the stuff would be terribly expensive.

And I wouldn't be enough to sweeten a pool of it very much.

Not to mention it'd stain that turtleneck something dreadful- coffee stains are such a trial to get out of white clothing, even with water magic.

Who says I'd swim with my clothes on?

Generally I wouldn't consider that a good idea, yes, but I don't know why you do half the things you do, I'm not going to make any assumptions.

You're quite welcome. Although I'm not sure how you came by the impression that you aren't interesting, it's certainly not an accurate one.
